Ah, yes. Right.  I will be away this coming Thursday, April 6th, for a minister’s retreat and lots of singing there with Pat Humphries and Sandy O., of Emma’s Revolution.  Maybe I’ll even come home with new songs for us. 

Then on Thursday April 13, we will be joined by Julie Lanoie and the new crop of hospice volunteers.  We will come a little earlier than usual – 5:00 PM, so that those who have not seen it, and those who would like a refresher, can view the documentary “Holding Our Own.”  It will last about an hour, after which some of us will share our experiences with bedside singing and Julie will say some good words about confidentiality and other timely tid-bits for going into people’s homes when they are being cared for on hospice.  for the remainder of our time, we will sing for the new hospice volunteers, giving them an opportunity to stand or sit or lie down in the center and receive some healing songs.
